We have been teasing you through our online socials about some incredibly exciting news here and at our recent Fundraiser Night we had the absolute joy of sharing the announcement with a room full of excited supporters — and it’s a major milestone for 12 Buckets.
Thanks to the incredibly generous support of the Stan Perron Foundation, we’re expanding into four new schools in a brand-new area for us: Clarkson and Merriwa.
That means our in-school mentoring programs will grow from 7 to 11 schools.
Even more exciting, this expansion includes 1 high school and 3 primary schools, bringing us to 9 primary schools and 2 high schools in which we will now be embedded.
The schools we’ll be partnering with are:
- Clarkson Primary School
- Somerly Primary School
- Merriwa Primary School
- Clarkson Community High School
We’re already part of the Clarkson community through our Big Buckets Community Mentoring program at Clarkson Youth Hub, so this growth feels like a natural next step — one that deepens our relationships with local young people and families.
We’re incredibly grateful to Elizabeth Perron and her wonderful team for making this possible. This is multi-year funding, which means we can build with confidence and create a lasting, permanent footprint in the area.
We can’t wait to create positive change in the lives of even more young people.
