7NEWS, together with RAC Insurance, searched for nominations to find Perth’s Local Champions and give them the recognition they overwhelmingly deserve. They are the volunteers, the carers and the selfless unsung heroes that quietly dedicate their time to helping the lives of others within their community. Over ten weeks, 7NEWS told the stories of Local Champions who were nominated by fellow community members.
We were very excited to be nominated for the Local Champions award and a short interview featured on 7NEWS in June. 12 Buckets was finalist and is so appreciative to 7NEWS and RAC for creating such an award and wanting to recognize those doing good in our community.
